Repair checklist

Exterior

Lighting

Marker Lights

• check that marker lights are functioning, repair or replace if necessary
• replace license plate holder and light

Utility lights

• replace melted bezel on exterior “scare” light
• find switch and verify over-door light–needs cleaned out, but works

Wheels

tires

brakes

• check functionality of brakes
• identify harness wire that controls brakes, and verify it’s wired correctly

axles

• check that axles don’t have “droop”
• possibly repack bearings?

Electrical

Battery

• repair (or replace) battery cable harness
• check to see if 110v service will charge battery
• clean fusebox contacts - do this some more, still intermittent contacts.
  
• Get spare buss fuses, 15A, 20A, 50A
• Check front fan for short
  

Windows and doors

Seals

• Check and replace weather stripping on openable windows and doors
• disassemble, clean, reseal, and replace VistaView windows

Check and repair integrity of front deflector shield

Interior

Walls

• Eliminate any trace of green paint!

Ceiling

Cabinets

• Remove bulkhead cabinets over twin beds

Beds

• Remove and clean mattresses and cushions

Tables

Sliding Doors

Curtains and blinds

Fans and Vents

• determine which fittings have, fans, lights, or a combo

Structural

Flooring

• Check for wet or rotting plywood
• Fix patch of flooring behind streetside wheel well

Frame

• check for rusting beams and outriggers

Skin

• Check belly pan for refastening
• check skin for holes and leaks
• check “hatch” door function, including weatherstripping
• fix hole over scare light

Functional

Furnace

• Locate
• determine functionality

Hot Water Heater

• Locate
• determine functionality

Stove

• Determine functionality (top burners work, haven’t checked oven yet.)

Refrigerator

• Clean!
• Determine functionality
• Determine suitability

Air Conditioner

• Determine functionality–blows air, cools, blows a 15A breaker
  

LP gas system

• Check for leaks
• fill tanks

Plumbing

City pressure system

Water Inlet

Galley Sink main faucet

On Demand tank system

Water inlet

Water pump-reconnected wire;runs

Reconnect OD tubing to water pump

Galley Sink filtered faucet

Fresh Water Tank

• drain, rinse and fill after water pump is reattached

Grey Water tank

Black Water tank

• Dump previous owner’s “leavings”. Don’t vomit.

“Dump” mechanism - works for grey water tank, valve is hard to move.

Toilet

Shower

• Remove stickers and caulking
• paint with Krylon Fusion
• recaulk
